Halloween Horror Nights 2014 will invade the Universal Studios Park weekends in October, from 7pm to 2am. And with 80-years of terrifying movies under their belts, Universal Studios knows how to do terror. Walk into your most blood-curdling nightmares in this year’s More Dead Than Ever!

Universal Studios HollywoodYou’ll experience seven hair-raising mazes featuring the creepiest characters from The Walking Dead, Alien vs. Predator, From Dusk Till Dawn and other horrifying productions. Ride the Terror Train: Invaded by the Walking Dead. Plus they’ve created five scare zones featuring Dark Christmas, Mask-a-Raid, and of course the Walking Dead. The Universal Studios backlot will be alive (or dead?) with urban movie sets serving as the backdrop for more grisly mazes than ever.

If you are looking for a thrillingly macabre way to celebrate Halloween this fall, you won’t find a more authentic gruesome scene than this one. The park limits this chilling experience to those 13 and up, because its that ghoulish. Regular park admission does not include the Horror Nights experience.

Spooky Haunts in New Orleans

Voodoo and ghosts in New Orleans are certainly not unheard of, and with Halloween looming only a couple weeks away, these ghostly tours of this Southern city are sure to pack a punch! Come join the masses and learn more about the haunted history of New Orleans. SeaWorld San Antonio Halloween Ideas

Autumn is here at last, and after a long summer, SeaWorld San Antonio is ready to celebrate the fall season and Halloween! Help support the SeaWorld Busch Gardens Conservation Fund with the Run for the Fund, and be sure to enjoy these great Halloween favorites!

On October 5, get ready for the fourth annual Run for the Fund, which benefits the SeaWorld Busch Gardens Conservation Fund! For an unforgettable run through SeaWorld San Antonio, participate in a 10K, 5K, or Family Fun Walk, and enjoy the view of sea lions, dolphins, wild birds, and reptiles. Help support conservation efforts around the world! After the race, every participant will get to enjoy the after-race festivities and never-before-seen Shamu show!

SeaWorld San Antonio is already getting ready for Halloween! On September 27, they begin to celebrate their Daytime Halloween Fun and Howl-O-Scream on every weekend. For kid-friendly shows and attractions, enjoy the Daytime Halloween Fun, where your kids can participate in trick-or-treating, watch Clyde & Seamore’s Monster Mix-Up, and experience Shamu’s Rockin’ Creep Show!

At 7 p.m., Howl-O-Scream begins, back this year like never before! The park’s “scare level” will become too intense for young kids, and this event is not recommended for children under 13. Check out the Frightmare Forest, where corpse creepers come out to bring your worst nightmares to life, sending you hovering on the edge of chaos and insanity. Also travel to the Den of the Departed, where the New Orleans Voodoo Queen has reclaimed her Louisiana cemetery, or to the S.O.S. Maze, where a twisted group of carnival misfits known as the Smiley Face Clown Gang has taken over! Halloween and Fall Festivals at Orlando

Fall has officially begun, and Orlando offers many fascinating activities for the upcoming season! Enjoy the autumn festivals and get ready for Halloween, because these great events will have you grinning from ear to ear and excited to participate in these fun activities!

Sesame Street characters take to the stage in the Countdown to Halloween musical, and you can explore the park and search for treasures. Celebrate Halloween in New York City

The start of October kicks off cooler weather in the city. Central Park trees are turning from lush and green to beautiful fall colors. New Yorkers are throwing on their hats and scarves before heading out into the city. But perhaps the most exciting autumn change coming to the city is Halloween! Celebrate the spooky holiday in true city style at New York City’s 39th Annual Village Halloween Parade on October 31 at 7 pm. This parade is truly special because they invite anyone in costume to be a part of it! This parade is known as “The nation’s most wildly creative public participatory event.” To participate, you are instructed to don your best costume and show up on Sixth Avenue ready to strut your stuff! Don’t have a spooktacular costume this year? Volunteer to animate a puppet in the parade! Bands are also invited to sign up to perform in the parade. This event is truly about showcasing New Yorkers in all their glory and it should not be missed!

 

Empire State Building Observatory

After frolicking through the streets, why not see the city from the best vantage point? The Empire State Building! Take in the views on the observatory deck 1,050 feet above the busy city streets. Not only will you be high in the skies, but you will also be able to see up to 80 miles away! Chicagoween is the Hottest Halloween Celebration in the Nation

The city of Chicago really gets into it’s Halloween celebration, and everyone is looking forward to this year’s Chicagoween. Daley Plaza is where the majority of the celebration takes place, but there are also several neighborhoods throughout the city participating. October 29-31, Daley Plaza is transformed into a spooky venue known as Franken Plaza where guests can enjoy hayrides, arts and crafts, special performances, fire dancers, a costume contest, and special Halloween-themed treats. Elsewhere in Chicago, the Chicago Botanic Garden is turned into the “Garden of Good… and Evil” to celebrate Halloween while the streets are prepared for the Spooky Pooch Parade for pets in costume to participate in on October 30th.
