The end of summer does not mean the end of fun in Wisconsin Dells. In fact, one of the biggest events in the area is a celebration of the end of summer and beginning of fall, the Wisconsin Dells Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival.
The three day extravaganza with a funny name, which means “to have fun” is in its 48th year as one of the largest festivals in Wisconsin. Plan to be in the Dells September 12th to 14th for a weekend filled with delicious food stalls with treats like kettle corn and alligator on a stick. Find novel items and hand-made works of art at the three day antiques flea market and arts and crafts fair. Kids love the carnival rides that line the streets, for a day of spins and thrills.
The events culminate on Sunday with a 75-unit parade that is truly a spectacle to behold. Live music, street performers and magnificent floats fill the entire street. And its free to attend the festivities. You will surely have fun at the festival whose name means to have fun!
