41st Autumn Daze Festival

Each fall as the heat of summer gives way to the cooler temperatures, and the rolling hills begin to display vivid colors upon the trees, Branson hosts the annual Autumn Daze Festival.  Its just one more reason to visit Branson this fall.

The 41st Annual festival will be held September 18th to 20th in Historic Downtown Branson.  More than 100 craftsmen and artisans from across the midwest gather to demonstrate their skills and sell their wares.  No factory made items will be found, only handmade crafts, foods, jewelry and more.  You can watch them at work, and find they love to answer questions about their crafts.  Pick up some tips for your own craft projects and find some truly unique and special items for yourself and loved ones.  The Ozarks are well known for their heritage of crafting, and this festival celebrates that culture.  Maybe you’ll find a perfect winter wool sweater and wear it with fond memories of the lady who actually raised the sheep, and spun the wool to knit it.  Or perhaps you’ll take home some organic, natural skincare products made with love.

Some of Branson’s finest entertainers will be on hand, performing live free shows before stepping over to the autograph booth, where you can meet them and get a photograph too.  There will be plenty of food and snacks in the food court, and the many downtown shops will be celebrating with sidewalk sales.

Fall is a wonderful time to visit Branson.  Enjoy a foliage tour, some shows, and spend a day at the Autumn Daze Festival downtown.  Its a great tradition.
