The time has come to trick-or-treat in Gatlinburg, and this year there will be plenty of scary fun activities to choose from! Whether you prefer a good scare to get your blood pumping, or something a little bit more tame, Gatlinburg has just what you need to make this year’s Halloween one to remember!
Trick or Treat Kickoff Carnival
Held at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the 6th Annual Trick or Treat Kickoff Carnival is the perfect way to jumpstart your Halloween night! Beginning at 1 p.m., this festival will feature family fun activities including contests, costumed characters, a bounce house, delicious food form Gatlinburg vendors, and of course lots of candy! Proceeds from the carnival will benefit the United Way of Sevier County.
Ripley’s Fright Nights
If you are wanting to take a break from the trick-or-treating routine on Halloween, head on out to Ripley’s Haunted Adventure for their 12th annual Fright Nights Show! This year Ripley’s has themed their haunted adventure, “Experiment in Terror” and will take you into the creepy practices and procedures of a twisted insane asylum. Demented doctors and disturbed patients invite you to come join them for a night or terror starting at 6:00 p.m. Halloween night, but be sure to leave the kiddos at home for this one—children under six will not be permitted.
Bring the family to the Iris Theater this Halloween for a spooky event unlike any other in Gatlinburg! Shocktober has everything imaginable to keep little ghouls and monsters entertained including face painting, magic, and the hilarious comedic styling of Guy Michaels!
