This weekend get out of the house and take advantage of the countless opportunities for some family fun in Nashville!
Every Saturday and Sunday during the month of October the staff at Cheekwood Arts and Gardens invites you and the family to come out for a day of festive fall fun! Bring the kids out for Garden Tales Story time at 10:30 a.m. and then head on over to create your own special craft at the ‘ART’ivities center! On site will be live bluegrass, guided tours of the Botanic Hall, as well as guided museum tours!
13th Annual Hauntings at the Hermitage
Venture out to the home of President Andrew Jackson on October 25th and 26th for the annual Hauntings at the Hermitage! Families can listen to scary ghost stories, enjoy a haunted hayride through the Hermitage fields, watch Halloween themed movies, and participate in several fun games and activities perfect for the kids! Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Customs House Museum
Bring the family to the Customs House Museum and Culture Center in Clarksville on October 27th for their Halloween event, “Making Faces”! Families are invited to come participate in this fun and creative event where they will have the opportunity to create and take home their own Halloween mask!
