From August 25-26, the 3rd Annual Smoky Mountain Relic Show & Sale is coming to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This exiting event is taking place at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center, and will give visitors the opportunity to explore authentic Civil War-era artifacts.
When you head to the Smoky Mountain Convention Center, you’ll be greeted with a wide selection of muskets, rifles and pistols from the days of the Civil War. You can also explore the number of photographs, uniforms, collectibles and more that will be on display.
In addition, there will be an artillery demonstration. Maury’s Artillery will be performing firing demonstrations, truly bringing “Thunder in the Forge.” Guests can also expect a performance by Mr. Ross Moore, a vocalist, musician and humorist.
Living history camps will be available at 63rd Tennessee (CSA). This reenactment town has been running for more than thirty years, reliving the days of the Civil War. You can visit this town during the Relic Show.
Tickets will cost $8 at the door for both days. Children 12 and under can get in for $4.
The Smoky Mountain Convention Center is nearby Creekstone Inn, the Ramada Inn and the Best Western Toni Inn. Each of these hotels will give you a unique stay, while staying true to the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee style.
