Once a month during the course of this past summer, Busch Gardens has hosted a concert in the park’s Royal Palace Theater and September 3-4 will be the finale of this live music series. For the special event, Neil Sedaka will be performing his hit songs that have influenced the music industry such as The Lion Sleeps Tonight and Ring-a-Rockin. Sedaka’s career has lasted nearly 55 years and he’s been inducted into 3 different Hall of Fames. Concert is free with admission to the park.
There’s no better place to watch a reenactment then in the city of Williamsburg which goes to amazing lengths to make history come alive, proven through attractions such as the Jamestown Settlement and Colonial Williamsburg. This event will follow suit with a recreation of George Washington’s siege ofYorktown. Musket drills, field maneuvers, and various activities will take place September 5-7 as this will be an educational and fun experience for the whole family, especially if there are some history buffs in the bunch.
