Next week (August 4th – 7th) the Satchmo Summerfest will be happening right in the Big Easy. Every year the city gathers for days and nights full of all kinds of jazz to celebrate Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong. Not only does this free festival have live music, but there will also be speakers who will share about the life Louis, a birthday party for the legend, and the Satchmo Art Show.   2. Gotta love jazz!! Jazz and blues are some of my alltime favs. What better place to experience them than New Orleans!!
