Celebrate Independence Day in New York City this weekend!

New York has a lot to offer you this Fourth of July. Make big plans and enjoy yourself in style. If you want to see all there is to see in the city, check out the various types of tours we offer (walking, double-decker buses, boats, and more). Don’t miss the New York tradition of Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest where tens of thousands of people gather on the Fourth to watch the challenge. Bring your camera for the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks as the explosions above the Hudson River celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty and the 235th birthday of the United States! You can’t forget to reserve a luxurious hotel to stay a few days and take everything in. Check out a few of New York’s top attractions.

Circle Line SHARK Speedboat Thrill Ride

Get ready for a high speed thrill ride on “the Beast,” a speedboat that races at speeds up to 45 mph. It’s a cruise, water ride, and rollercoaster all-in-one! You’ll stop by the Statue of Liberty and other NY landmarks to snap a few photos. With the sun shining down, you won’t mind the splashes of water coming from up from the waves as the boat zooms around Manhattan Island. What a great way to spend the summer day before the fireworks begin!

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

For a unique way to spend the holiday, look no further than Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. The building houses over 200 famous celebrities for you to take photos with. Beyonce, Lance Armstrong, and Barack Obama are all in attendance and ready to “meet’ you. You can sing in the American Idol Experience or mix music with R&B megastar Usher. The Chamber of Horrors will scare you silly as you walk through this interactive attraction. You’ll have a tremendous time and this will be a nice way to get some air-conditioning during the hot day.

Six Flags Great Adventure

Your adrenaline will be pumping as you experience all the heart-racing attractions of Six Flags. The Green Lantern is one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters of its kind! Calm down a while on the 15-foot Big Wheel or 19th Century Carousel. The little ones will have a blast on the Looney Tunes-themed kiddie rides. Spend your day at this outstanding amusement park and at 10 pm catch an exciting firework display complete with rock tunes.
