Stroll Through San Antonio’s River Walk during the Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show!

Hosted by the city’s fine residents, visitors will have a blast at San Antonio’s River Walk during the annual Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show, taking place from the morning of May 27 until May 30. Restaurants, booths and vendors will all be set up to greet passersby as you head into the downtown area. You’ll be able to check out many of the paintings, ceramics, pottery, fine jewelry and other art pieces within the River Walk. Celebrate Memorial Day with a trip down to San Antonio and participate in this great event! You can reserve your own San Antonio lodging as well.

While you’re strolling along the River Walk, you can make a full tour of it with the Rio San Antonio River Walk Cruises, providing easy access across this man-made body of water via boat, where you’ll discover additional features and hear a few of the funny stories that your knowledgeable tour guide will let you in on. As you pass by the downtown area, you’ll learn about the nearby Fort Alamo, where Texans fought against General Santa Ana’s troops. In addition, the boat will curve around to the spots where San Fernando Cathedral and San Antonio Central Library sit. It’s a great way to sightsee during your stay.

You can cool off from your adventures with a watery experience at Schlitterbahn Waterpark, providing plenty of great swimming and recreational opportunities. Three miles of tube rides and white water rapids await your arrival here at the park. In addition, there are more than 17 water slides for the adventurous types. Grab your swimsuit and head over to the water park for an exciting adventure!
