Attend Gatlinburg’s Pyrotechnic Show and Fireworks on New Year’s Eve

Visitors and locals will count down near the Space Needle as hundreds of fireworks and beautiful electronic displays light up the night sky in Gatlinburg for New Year’s Eve. The beautiful, choreographed fireworks show will be produced by the talented Pyro-Shows in LaFollette, Tennessee, and it promises to be just as good if not better than last year’s. Best of all, all those in attendance will see the famous “ball drop” on top of the space needle, signifying the end of 2010 and the beginning of a new year. Food, lights and music will all be part of the exciting festivities. Reserve your Gatlinburg area hotel for the events to prepare for 2011.

In addition to the beauty of the Pyro Technic shows, you can also add to your Gatlinburg experience by attending Magic Beyond Belief. Gaze in wonder at the illusions and trickery of Terry Evanswood, a magician unlike any other. As you stroll in, you’ll notice top-of-the-line features inside his theater, including two enormous video screens, surround sound and individually controlled lighting. Terry is the winner of the Merlin Award, and you’ll have no doubts of his talent by the end of the show. Adding to his performance are several animals, including Klondike the Wonder Dog and a beautiful white tiger.

Along with the area’s other shows, you can get a few laughs in at the Comedy Barn Variety Show, providing original jokes and down-home traditions. If you have kids, you’ll want to take them along to see amazing specialist performers like jugglers, fire-eaters and comedians. It’s a show not to be forgotten with hilarious antics intertwined with foot-stomping country music. Be sure to look for Arnold, the Mind Reading Pig in the show as well.
