Gatlinburg 4th of July Midnight Parade

Ober Gatlinburg

Spend this Independence Day in Gatlinburg for the annual Gatlinburg 4th of July Midnight Parade!

As the name suggests, the Midnight Parade, touted as the ‘First July Fourth Parade in the Nation’ begins exactly at midnight on July 4th.  This year the parade will be honoring Women Veterans and other US Heroes.  Featured in the parade will be the 572nd US Air Force Band, members from all service branches, and vintage military vehicles.

GatlinburgOf course there will be fireworks.  Beginning at 10pm and visible from just about anywhere in town.  Gatlinburg really puts on a show.  So grab your spot on the parade route early and see it all.

The 4th is on a Friday this year, so you can spend the whole weekend enjoying all the other fun attractions of the Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area.  Treat the family to a day at Dollywood, or The Dixie Stampede.

Vacations Made Easy has great vacations packages, so you can take it easy and celebrate this holiday!
