Football fans can grab tickets to the Music City Bowl, scheduled to be played on December 30, 2013 at LP Field in Nashville. This is the 16th edition of the Music City Bowl, featuring the Ole Miss Rebels from the Southeastern Conference against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The bowl is currently sponsored by the Franklin American Mortgage Company and officially known as the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl.
You can also race against the clock in the Ravenchase Quest for Father Time. This New Year’s Eve, more than champagne and midnight kisses are at stake if you and your teammates don’t unwind the mystery of Father Time before midnight. As the story goes, Father Time, as a bitter old crank, has planned to stop time altogether, locking us in this year forever, and you and your teammates must participate in treasure hunt with a starter clue that gives the location of the start point. Racers receive handmade maps, clues, and a gadget bag of handy items.
Of course, traditional party-goers won’t be forgotten! The vibrant city nightlife offers dining and dancing in venues across town. You can party at many of the local night clubs and more, or have a retro rock party on the General Jackson, where you can breathe in the fresh air along the Cumberland River as you enjoy an evening of fun! Join the 300-foot-long paddle-wheel riverboat for the Near Year with a 4-hour trip on the water under the twinkling stars and majestic Nashville skyline.
